We would love to cater your function at The Temple. At present the Temple is not charging room hire fee, however if your function falls on an evening where we are not open or you would like to use our private bar and pool area a minimum spend is required.

Drinks
If you would like to put a bar tab on for yourself, or your group, the guests will be given a coloured wrist band to access the tab. You need to specify exactly what drinks you will allow to be accessed through your tab. Most popular options are:
Basic bottled beer, red and white wine and sparkling includes:
Tooheys new $6.50, Tooheys Extra Dry $6.50, Whispers Sparkling White SA $7.50, Whispers Chardonnay SA $7.50 and Lindemans Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon $7.50.
Basic spirits, bottled beer, red and white wine and sparkling includes:

Cake and decorations
If you would like to bring in a birthday cake there is no charge to slice and serve cake, however if you would like it to be served with cream and couli there is a $20 cake fee. Please remember to bring your candles. You may put up decorations in your designated area as long as they do not damage any Temple property.

Sectioned Areas
We have many beautiful areas within Temple that include curtains, daybeds and couches. All furniture is moveable within Temple so we can cater to your needs. Please keep in mind when booking the deck area that it closes at 10pm due to noise restrictions. At this time your group will moved to an inside area.

DJ’S
DJ’s play most nights Temple is open. If a DJ is not already booked to play on the night of your function you may request one. Temple can provide you with a DJ at a cost of $50 per hour. You can listen to our DJ’s on Sundays from 3pm live broadcast on 105.7 Radio Metro.
Personal DVD’S
We have 4 massive roof screens to play any DVD’s. Please bring your DVD in prior to party to check it will work on our system to avoid disappointment. There is to be no offensive material on these DVD’s and there will be no sound.

Booking Confirmation
To confirm your booking and hold your area we require a deposit, generally of $200 that is taken off your final bill.
You may come pay the deposit in person via cash or eftpos. We can do a credit card transaction over the phone or you can direct deposit.

Under Age Guests
All guests under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by their parents and exit the venue by 10pm. The person holding the function must sign a function disclaimer. Even though all precautions will be made over our bar to ensure any underage patrons are not served alcohol, the function holder will ultimately be held responsible if one of their guests supplies a minor with alcohol and can be fined up to $25,000 by liquor licensing. Therefore it is very important you think about the risks of involving minors in your function. For example: allowing 17 year olds to attend an 18th birthday. Can you guarantee the other guests will not sneak the underage guests’ drinks? Is it worth the risk considering the heavy fines?
