We said no to fat freezing…….

This is a diffiuclt thing to do as a business however this ladies expectations were unrealistic, and she did not want to follow our recommendations. Now we love fat freezing and we want you to as much as we do, but had we conducted treatment she wouldnt have been happy. She was menopausal, 84 kg and 5’2. She had significant layer of subcutaneous fat aroudn her mid line and she wanted to look “significantly different”, however she only wanted to spend a couple of hundered dollars and have one fat freezing treatent. We knew that with just one treatment and only a couple of hundered dollars, she would not be able to see a difference. Fat freezing works on only the subcutaneous fat (under the skin) and each time a treatment provides a reductiion in the number of fat cells in that treated area as a percentage. So as the applicator (or handle) can only suction a portion of the subcutaneous fat in, only that area would be treated and would face a reduction. Given the thickness of her fat, and the amount of fat in the whole midline area one treatment would not give her a significant result. So WE SAID NO. We know that one treatment of one or two applicators will NOT give her a good result due to her physical presentation. We liken it to comparing a person with wasit length hair and cutting 1 inch off. you dont notice it. If you take one inch off someone with short hair you notice it. So like this hair cut - with one session she wouldnt notice the difference. THad we gone ahead and followed her request she would have though - fat freezing didnt work, when physiologically it did but visibily it appeared not to have.
